Before we were ClearStack Technologies, we were AGEN Environmental.

ClearStack Inventor, Eric T. LaVoie, who has two other combustion “burn science” patents, has been successful by taken more of a chemical combustion science and thermal engineering approach to solve different and complex combustion issues.
While most powerplant operations follow the same thirty-year-old thinking and guidelines logic of; “burn it just hot enough not to exceed emission targets” to reduce emissions after the fact; because todays newer stricter regulations weren’t know at the time, when many of the CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) and other systems entered the industry in the 1980’s-1990’s.
After ClearStack installs the small “Catalytic Thermal-Oxidation” technology units onto the boiler, they then incorporate the “Flue-Gas Emissions Eliminator System” before the stack (in parallel) to convert most of the treated stack emissions, (PM2.5, PM10, CO, CO2, NOx, SOx, fly-ash and other soot radical toxins) into a semi-clear liquid solution. This watery solution can be re-used back to the boiler operations or other use. This will thereby help reduce expensive chemicals like NaOH (sodium hydroxide) or CaO (calcium oxide) that try to address basic acidic gas oxides issues.
For the last 3 years he has developed with his team a low-cost nano-catalyst chemical reaction unit and an emissions gas conversion to liquid-state system to help greatly reduce all emissions. As Eric explains in detail:
“Incorporating our process of thermal chemical oxidation destruction and ionization approach, has shown to be successful in creating higher combustion temperatures and longer burn chamber detention time. This now becomes more instrumental for the breakdown of soot and other complex toxins, to less harmful emission gases. Soot is fuel, complex organic/polymer particles and metal bonded oxides are fuel, so it’s best to burn them completely and there-by capitalize on more heat per ton of fuel.”
“What ClearStack offers is a way to utilize and create a higher burn combustion energy zone to chemically transition most of the harmful emissions. Thereby converting many of these (simpler safer ionized) gases to a liquid state with our recovery conversion vessel technology. By doing this, there is less loading on dust (particulates) abatement systems making them more efficient and reliable. ClearStack’s entire process would cost approximately $1.10 per MWh but, not being in violation and your neighbors happier is priceless”
