Eric T. LaVoie is a founding member of ClearStack and an industrial technology executive recognized for translating technical innovation into measurable operational performance. He brings 33 years of manufacturing experience and 17 years in operations management, with leadership responsibility for multi-department teams ranging from 25 to 225 personnel. His career began as an industrial maintenance technician and progressed through Industrial Technology Engineering and Water/Wastewater engineering and operations in diverse chemical and industrial settings.
Eric’s technical depth spans electro-mechanical systems, boilers and controls, HVAC, heat exchange, pumps, water/wastewater systems, chemical systems, and dust abatements supported by a practical, field-first approach to troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement. He is licensed as a Massachusetts municipal & industrial water/wastewater operator (Grade 3I/3M, not presently active) and is a Massachusetts unrestricted oil burner technician (to 500 hp), with high-pressure boiler operator (2nd class) certification.
Across senior roles, including plant operations, plant management, and reliability engineering-Eric has delivered quantifiable results, including over $3.2 million in savings through root-cause problem-solving and operational improvements, alongside OEE and safety enhancements. He has also implemented TPM/TQM and Lean methods to reduce operating costs and downtime while improving throughput and quality. An entrepreneur who has led new-technology startups from early stages, Eric is also the named inventor on two U.S. patents in equipment advancements—reinforcing ClearStack’s innovation-driven culture.
